ITES Research Day - rDay 2025

On Wednesday, 27^th August 2025 from 13:00-18:00 the ITES community will gather in CHN C14 & CHN Lichthof to celebrate the breadth of excellent research within the Institute of Terrestrial Ecosystems (ITES). rDAY 2025 is the official research day of ITES and was back in 2012. The aim of this event is to provide a unique opportunity for graduate students, postdocs and academic staff to present the diversity and importance of their scientific work to the wider ITES community. This will hopefully foster a greater awareness of the activities of the different groups at ITES, and facilitate collaboration across the institute.

rDAY 2025 will have a keynote by Prof. Dr. Eva Lieberherr (Institute for Environmental Decisions, D-USYS), with the opportunity for questions afterwards.
There will be another presentation by Dr. Elisabet Capón García and Dr. Rok Roškar (Swiss Data Science Center).
This will be followed by the unavoidable rDAY group picture. We will then continue with an interactive Research Exchange to learn about each other’s research activities. Finally, the rDAY will be ended with an apéro riche.
